Alright guys, after playing phone tag for a couple of days, I'm picking up the brackets after work today. I won't get the ones to the powder coater until tomorrow morning, but I'll check out all the parts tonight and make sure I'm happy with them. I will keep you posted and try to get a few pics up.

I have the brackets in my possession and they\'re looking good at first glance. I\'ll check them all out later this evening.

A few things:

1) He forgot to cut the gussets. He\'s going to do that over the next few days. Hopefully I\'ll have them by the weekend.

2) The upper spacers are steel. I\'d planned on aluminum, but there was apparently a miscommunication. No big deal. I just like aluminum.

3) He made two more sets han I had expected, so I have two more available from this run! First come, first serve, of course.

I\'ll try to get a few pics up while I\'m checking them out tonight.

OK, here are a couple of pics, as promised. Sorry for the quality, they're cell pics, no flash.

I'm very happy with the brackets, although I need to bend the bottoms around a little bit more on some because they're not quite a 90°. Not a big deal. I think for the next run, I'm going to make a special jig for bending these instead of having him bend them at the shop.

I'm going to be dropping off the ones to be powdercoated today, as well as picking up the hardware. I'll keep you posted on progress.

On to the pics:

Still one set from this batch left!

Seeing as the spacers are steel now are they getting powdered too? Or will they be left raw?

Powdercoated would be best since steel will rust.

The spacers are getting powdercoated.

Ford04Ranger4.0, I posted pics of them on my truck a few pages back. This is the production run. I posted pics merely as an update for the guys waiting for them. I've had mine on for almost two months now, I believe, and they're doing quite well.

Hows the passenger side for clearance with the split upper control arm?

Ugh. Didn't go back to see if I lost any pics in the server crash. I'll either dig them up over the weekend or take some new ones.

As for the clearance on the passenger side, I actually had a little more than the drivers side.

Lastly, the final set from this run is spoken for. Once these are all done and sent out, I'll start up interest for another batch. Stay tuned!

just have a quick question regarding spring rate... i just ordered myself a new heavy duty bumper from Iron bull bumpers, and with the extra 180 lbs (im pretty sure) in the front, should i consider getting 850 or even 900 lbs springs? i want to try and level the front of my truck with the back. i am superlifted

Max, personally, I'd say you probably want to go with 800 or 850 with that bumper.

OK guys, I have an issue, and since you've all been waiting for these, I want to defer to you.

I have gone through all of the brackets, and I'm very happy with the uppers. They're all exactly as I expected.

However, most of the bottoms are bent less than the full 90° I wanted them for a nice snug fit to the control arm. The holes are correct, the welding of the uprights is right, and the brackets will fit the control arm, but the side tab does not sit flush against the side of the control arm. I have taken a picture of the worst of them, and I want to know if you guys are willing to wait while I have the bends corrected, or if you want me to just get the brackets sent out to you guys. My personal preference is to get them bent the rest of the way, but since you guys are waiting on your brackets, I want to know from you.

Let me know ASAP, by either sending me a PM, or posting here. If some guys want them as is, and some guys want them fixed, that's not a problem at all.

I would most defiantly make the shop fix them to the correct angle.

Sounds good guys. I'm hoping that I hear from everyone today on their preference. I want to drop them off tomorrow to get fixed. Once I do, I'll update the thread.
