Oh well that makes more sense. I thought you already had it and took it apart. I hope every thing is alright. I REALLY want some so I dont have to make custom brackets for my coilover lowering project.

If he can answer emails, why cant he write them? I think he should write US and tell us whats up... thats all. Its not the time frame that I am concerned about, its the absolute LACK OF COMMUNICATION ON JACOBS PART that bothers me.

Things happen.
I hope Jacob is ok.
BS!

like I said above, if he can contact others on this site that DID NOT buy $300+ worth of parts, he should be able to shoot those of us that did pay up front an email about what the F--- is going on. hell, we all used freakin PAYPAL to pay him, so he sure as hell has all of our email addresses.

The longer this game keeps playing out, the more annoyed I am with what is happening. Sure I hope the guy is OK. Hell, I really think it was awesome that he offered to build this stuff for us... BUT, somehow, certain "insiders" seem to be in touch with him but I am not and that is ridiculous.

Exactly, why should we have to e-mail him to get our tracking numbers? Why can't he e-mail us?

Why are all of the "updates" being posted through other people? And, why hasn't anyone received their order yet? They have all been shipped probably a dozen times now, but nothing ever shows up.

Im sorry this has happen to you but my truck recently went under the knife because of my motor issues... It took me almost 5 weeks to get it back up and running again, parts on order and all that jazz.

I dont feel for you one bit because you decided to put AFTERMARKET parts on your truck!! What happens if you break something on your truck while doing a lift? You always have to prepare for the worst.... Just relax a little bit, I understand your frustration, been there done that. You will get your parts dont worry, stop stressin and just wait a tad bit longer!! He has not F***ed anyone before, why would he start now?

good question... I dont think any of us are saying that, but you have to wonder, right? He claimed to have shipped this stuff several times and yet more than 2 months later he disapears from the site and nobody gets anything!

Im still trying to have faith in the situation, but its looking worse and worse every day.

My truck is running fine on torsion bars, but I am just as upset as KLC.

not to pry in people personal lives but could one of you who talk to Jacob and are updating for him give us a little insight as to WHY they are taking so long?.... we are all asking questions but getting shotty answers and just told to keep waiting, well why are we still waiting? why arent they done? why did he say he shipped them out and hasnt? Everyone understands things come up but NO one has actually answered any of those questions. Maybe a little more detail would be suffecient to appease the people that have already invested $600.

Jacob initially expected to have all of the brackets and hardware sent out within a couple of weeks. So I had planned to do the coilover conversion as soon as we received the coilover’s from ORW, which we were supposed to receive a few weeks after the coilover conversion hardware. Based upon this, I went ahead and sold my shocks and torsion bars. As a result, my Ranger has been on stands for nearly two months now since we still have not received the coilover conversion hardware. I had planned on the Ranger being down about a week, but not over a month. Needless to say, this is why I am frustrated.

I hope I have not come across as being an unsympathetic jerk but I just cannot wait any longer because my Ranger is my source of transportation when not working. So unless something changes within the next few days I'll probably end up having to have the brackets made locally just so I can get my Ranger back on the road.

Nothing I have previously said in the thread was meant to be callous; I’m just in a different situation than most, which is why this is such an issue to me.
Damn, I would be pissed if in the same situation!!!!

Hope Jacob gets all this straightened out. I am "patiently" waiting on some stuff myself.

If you look back in the thread you will notice that when he said he would ship and didn't there was always a reason posted after the fact to cover.

Take some time and re-read all of it and you will see.

All to their own, IMHO, as I see it and I did re-read the entire thread, there are answers there.
Yes the latest ones over the last couple of weeks are not coming as they should but there was always an answer after a delay.

I don't know Jacob so I am not making this statement out of loyalty or long term friendship, I just re-read the thread and came up with my statement.

We need to hang in there and let the guy get it done and stop with the this "it's wrong attitude"; yes it would be nice to hear directly from Jacob but at the moment it isn't happening.

Jacob, you need to straighten this out man, some answers are being asked for and need answering.

people are making big claims, as the brackets were ~$130. not 600...unless you bought coilovers already....

Who knows, but that would be an awful way to exile yourself from a ranger community and get a lot of angry people coming after you.

A few members that are directly related to this have asked for it to be reopened, per request I will. I do ask that if you are not involved in the group by to stop arguing the situation, you are not in that situation they are so you cant really put any valuable input in.

Hopefully I can get a hold of Jacob today.
