Couple Quick Fabtech Questions

Hey Guys. One of my buddies is hooking me up with a deal at my local offroad shop on a bunch of the mods Iv been wanting to do over the past while. Im going in tomorrow to talk to the guys and just had a few questions.

My plan is to put the 3" fabtech spindle lift on my 08 ranger sport 2wd (already prekeyed) with 33x12.5's and 15x8 procomp steelies with 3.75" BS.

One of the guys at the shop said I may have problems clearing the steel wheels with the front brake caliper? Im confused by what he means. Can anyone clarify for me? I know so many people run this exact wheel setup on there spindle lifted rangers.

Also I did a search and at the moment cant find any info on the bump stop problems with fabtech lifts. I know its something about the caliper being compressed and preloading the brakes. How do I fix this? Anyone have a link? I hope the shop is aware of this issue

Don't get fabtech spindles. Search and you will find a ton of people who have broken them even while driving on the street.

Those people also abused them offroad too. Its not like they broke just from driving on the road, they were beat on prior to that.

also ive seen this only on edges..not on xl 2wd's...idk if the added t-bar crank puts the snout on added stress

So what are my other options. Bodylift?..dont really want to. Or the doestech spindles?.. iv also heard bad about them. No other options

the spindles will be fine if you dont drive your truck like you ride your bike

haha so no backflips on the truck...whats the point in even lifting

Iv had my fabtechs on 35's for almost 3 years with no problems. I do light wheeling and alota highway. But my tbars arnt turned either.
