Difference in height xlt and sport later years
Hey guys still new here so bare with me. I have a 2000 xlt 2wd and I’m wondering if the 2008 on up sports and 4x4s are about similar in height to my xlt? I heard they were lower than the 07s and down. Thanks
4x4s are about 3-4" higher
Google: 2008 ford ranger 4x4 ground clearance
And : 2000 ford ranger 2wd ground clearance
But look at BODY HEIGHT
2008 4x4 is 69"
2000 2WD is 65"
2010 Ranger 2WD is 66"
4" higher at top of cab on 4x4, 2WD or 4x4 both have the same body, so 4" higher to climb into
A few inches for this is in the tire size/diameter, 4x4s tend to have taller tires than 2WD, for better ground clearance
