That's not a bad CV angle either lol... Looks like a superlift CV angle lol.. My RCD is angled more than that

Thats how he claimed to get 10" - I don't believe it - I say hes got 7" total, maybe an inch more from keys... after all he is only on 35s..... I think 10" would look different with 35s...

re

The keys do the EXACT same thing as cranking the bars. So it would be 2" MAX
Yes after you put them in but you can crank them and get more lift out of them, for a little bit i was ridding on 4" of lift from keys alone.

The superlift kit comes with a block for the rear no shackle.

He can obtain 7" of lift in the rear from the 3" block a 2" shackle and a AAL.

In the front the Superlift its all drop brackets. he can put in lift keys and get some lift out of them id say he can probably get 6" of total lift out of the front with the superlift setup lift keys at full crank.

I doubt he did it though if he's off roading the CV's would be shot. my CV's were binding like crazy when i used the lift keys. but it is possible.

are the keys a good investment or are they just a wast of time? i was thinking about getting the lift keys and adjustable shackels off of ebay for i think it was like $150 or something like that.

Not if you get an alignment.

this is what he wrote me when i asked him how he got 3 extra inches out of a 4 inch suspension lift:

the answer to your question about how i got 3 extra inches is that I added leaf springs to stiffin the back up and as a result had to put smaller blocks in the back so my rear end didnt sit real high. And the front I cranked the torsion bars...We had to weld extentions on my shocks because they were for a 4 inch lift..not 7..

Maybe he's adding in the tire difference from stock to what he's running now =]

Sorry Roach2004 you are incorrect. the lift keys give you a good more amount of lift. they are not good considering they make your CV bind almost imediatly.
Proof of the Keys lift.
Before i put lifted keys in.

I'm tellin you dude, get some chevy lift leafs... Only problem with what you're gonna be lifting it for... You'll probably have to get a new driveline made to fit with that much lift!... Without getting new springs you've got 3 choices

Shackles
AAL
Blocks

All of those combined and keepin it safe you could get about 10" outta the rear

2" AAL
4" block
4" RCD shackle (I think it's 4in... I know it's 9in eye to eye)

foxyford, how long do you think the cv's last with that much of an angle that you had with the keys and the cranked t-bars? cause i dont want them to wear out to quick.
