if they are meant for an explorer and gives it a 4inch lift

You would see around a 9inch lift on a ranger

Explorer Leaf are SUA, so being mounted to the top of the axle, you would see an extra 5 inches

They would also have a higher spring rating for the extra weight of an explorer

go get some Sport Trac leafs. They should give you about 3-4" lift.

those look like nice leafs. Id be williing to bet if you took you lift block out of your axle and had the leafs sitting on the axle those superlift leafs would give you about 6" lift.

oh dont worry, ive been on the hunt since you posted your thread about the sport trac leafs......theres just NO wrecked sport trac around me!!!

i guess its a good thing though lol

i just found these, and they look pretty decently priced..

but i have a shackle i just bought, so it'd be too much lift for me right now.

im pretty sure they wouldnt give you 9inches, people have swapped over stock explorer leaves and gotten ~2". So 4" leaves for and explorer would be about 6" on a ranger. Explorer leaves mount under the frame rails instead of beside the rails like on a ranger.

you could get those superlift leafs and take out the lift block and go back to the stock shackle. That would probaby get you close to what youre looking for. You have lots of options so its up to you how much money you want to spend and how creative you can get. I do like those SL leafs, theyre quality and new. Mite just be the way to go.
keep us posted on what decisions you make, and take pics.
