Finally buying a lift!

I ordered the Superlift for my 08 Sport yesterday. Stuffing 285/75/16 BFG MT KM2's on 16x8 DIck Cepek DC-1 Black/Gloss underneath. As of right now I'm installing it myself with a few friends. It should be here in 2 weeks.

Should I do the pre-key mod at the same time or is it easy enough to do later on down the road?

Sweet dude.

But I heard it doesn't work well w/the '08 sports, mind as well just send it Toms River. Works great on the '01s.

Is the pre-key mod the torsion bar key? Shane showed me how to install and uninstall the torsion bars insanely easy. Instead of using a torsion bar puller you basically lower your lower control arm (by unbolting sway bar and knuckle and one other part i forgot name of) and then the angle allows you to remove the torsion bar by hand. It was the....best....tip...ever.

Yeah the 08+ ones were reindexed by Ford to be lower so a lot of guys are just swapping in the old OEM keys to gain a inch or two

i propped the truck up on jackstands, then took my jack with a long socket and support the torsion key, then took the bolt and little spacer thingy out and then lower the jack and wamo....done. piece of cake. no messing with the knuckle or anything. dont even have to take off the wheel

I bought everything from 4wheelparts.com

Wheels, tires, lift, mounted and balanced for under 3 grand.

i will have to take a look, I am in the process of looking for a lift and doing the Coil-Over Conversion also; a second kit, sort of.

Thanks again,
