front sway bar
front sway bar
i got a 2000 ranger xlt 3.0l flex 2wd
if i took the sway bar off would it realy make any difference?
would i have increased bump steer or anything that might feel out of the ordinary?
what will be the good of deleting the sway bar and what is the bad

Good - Smoother ride, better suspension travel.
Bad - More body roll.
Just disconnect one swaybar endlink when you want the ride and travel.

just disconnect both links from the bar, turn the bar up, and roll with it....literally. See how you like it. On your coilsprung truck.....i didin't like it without a sway bar slammed.
My 4x4 tho....drives beautiful with #1 torsion bars and 35's.

i never really got to look at the sway bar setup's on a ranger, but couldnt u make a set of quick disconnects for the sway bar? something like a jeep would have... connect it on road, then disconnect when u go out n play? i've read some where on how to make them.. ill see if i cant find it again if it'd be possible to do.
ahh yes... there is a site that tells me out to make them for the dodge, but make them with a hitch pin.. and boom.. done.. if u can go the route of making your own.. id suggest doin that rather then leavin it off all the time.
