gearing ?

gearing ?

is the stock gearing on a 95 3.0 v6 4x2 okay enough to run 33x13.50 swampers? or am i gonna have to re-gear?

What gears do you have? I ran 33's on my 4.0 with 3.55's for a while until I got 4.10's. It was doggy with 3.55's, but not that bad. Might be worse with a 3.0 though.

yeah with your truck your going to want to regear. I'd say 4.56's would be the best but you might be able to get away with 4.10's. Seeing as how you have a 2wd ranger I'd suggest that you go out and get an 8.8" rear end as I'm sure you probably have a 7.5" rear end. Take that and install a set of 4.56's gears and a nice locker. You'll enjoy those a ton when you get them in.
