getting rid of blocks!!
getting rid of blocks!!
I have a 4 inch suspension lift in my 94 ranger. The back is lifted with blocks and I don't like the axle wrap it is giving me. How would yall lift the rear without using blocks? I was thinking of using explorer leaf packs(if they would fit) and getting a little bit of lift that way. what do yall think I should do? any input will be greatly appreciated! THANKS!
well it is the stock block and a 3 inch rough country block stacked on that. What I'm tryin to do is get rid of the 3 inch rough country blocks and find some other way to lift it so I have less axle wrap by using an explorer leaf pack which has more arch because the explorers are SUA and rangers are SOA.
I know that doing a SOA swap on an explorer is about 5 inches of lift so I wouldn't see why they wouldn't give me atleast 3 inches of lift on a ranger.

the spring hangers on explorers are under the frame rails and rangers are on the sides so the springs will give about 2 or so inches of lift. use expo leafs and belltech 6400 shackles and you should be able to remove the 3" block.
Will this affect my pinion angle?
THANKS!!
