Why wouldn't you use them if you had them? I didn't have them thats why I didn't use them
so what you are saying shane, is just drop it with the kit drops, and i wont have any problems with clearance or anythign..
What I'm saying...is drop it or not drop it. if you drop it, drop it right meaning complete. Last thing I'd wanna see is a thread of how your fan hit your radiator because the bottom of the rad tilted back on a bumpy road. idk...maybe i'm overly causious?
Don't understand what you said there Trent... |
gotcha..

What you're looking at that hangs low is the A/C condenser...you dont relocate that for the bodylift. The rad is located behind it and you can't even see it.
You might can't see your's but I can see mine. |
are you going for the longest body lift install evarr? lol what else do you need to finish up to get us some finished pics!
No..Trent will never be beat.
idk he said 10 days haha
Trent's took about a month. LOL!
He may take the lead, but it wont be an actual win. Because Trent drove his with just the bed lifted. James is completely unavaliable to have the opportunity to even see his truck. |
wow haha what setbacks did he have to take a month?, and what else does james have to do to finish? bed, and radiator brackets?
Haha guys. Yes, shane is correct, completely unavailable to see my truck.. Which makes me quite sad.
Blake - All i have left to do is bed, radiator brackets and front bumper/gaurd. should be able to finish everything up in a day. Should be getting finished picks up next week around the 3rd. Im also going to have to get the exhaust re-hung eventually but thats not really a priority right now, i need to fix the misfire problem first.. Oh almost forgot, I also have to paint the front bumper brackets for shane. |
haha yeah painting those is a rule to live by,but sounds like you have all the hard(er) parts done cant wait to see it!
yeah, most of the hard stuff is done, now is just the tideous sh1t.. Question, since im going to be sitting higher with the BL, should i uncrank the tbars a little to take stress off of them/
I would if it were me. Uncrank them for better ride since you're probably close to being maxed out already to fit 35's with only 4".
yeah they are pretty much maxed out.. prob. loosen them up maybe 2 turns.. god i cant wiat to finish this! should be DONE on friday IF the auto hobby shop doesnt close
ehmm its monday? right....
lol mine took a while cause.. lol it was custom :P cant wait for the pics |
haha, well i hit a snag, which was the dam auto hobby shop wasnt open all weekend cause the 4th.. So i have to wait till Friday to finish lol
UPDATE!!!!!!!!!
FINALLY DONE!!!! well, kinda lol.. Everything is done EXCEPT the bumpers, which i am taking into a shop.. the guy is going to modify the brackets to lift them up just a hair more.. I dont have access to the tools needed. And he is going to go through everything just to make sure its all good.. But everything else is done, and it is BEAST lol.. Few things i still need to do... 1) Raise exhaust 2) Get gap gaurds 3) bumpers. and thats it! lol.. ill post pics in a little bit, have to find the dam camera.. |
