Ha ha! True that!

But I'll replace both shafts or spindles to be sure.

I looked at it again and definitely could just replace the shaft if I can get one that fits.

Damn that sucks John, I always worry that something like that could happen one day but it would be different on mine as its a 4x4.

Shouldn't be too bad, Chris -- I put the spindles on myself, did the ball joints top and bottom before etc. Just a grind to move through. I'll let you know though when I do it -- you can come down and provide "moral support" if nothing else, lol!

Seriously though, if I get the parts in time, I'll probably end up doing this at night.

Hey ,
You might want to check out the other spindle & see if it's damaged?

Okay, I had the Doetsch so now I'll try the Fabtechs. Ordered them from 4WheelParts this morning for $375 which includes shipping.

I'll get the old ones off and get the new brake parts together while I'm waiting for them to arrive so I'm ready to go when they get here. MIGHT be that I can make Wharton, but I don't know yet.

Sounds like a plan!

I hope you get her up and running. And I hope this doesn't happen to me

The two guy was good. He has these little sled-runner dealies that he puts under the control arm along with a piece of 4x4 and it slid on real nice.

Hey man kinda off topic but I noticed you have removed your front sway bar. How does your truck handle without it?

With the Rancho RSX shocks and stiffer torsion bars, not too bad. It wasn't a sports car with all the lift and 35's anyway, lol. But it take some getting used to.

The main problem is that it's kind of "non-linear". When you push it to a certain point and the body roll really advances, a rapidly increasing over-steer happens. I literally had the truck up on 2 wheels a couple of times pushing it during testing. I know the truck pretty well now so no problems like that.

It is however MUCH smoother over bumps. I wouldn't do it with stock shocks and soft t-bars though -- that would be awful.
