HAHA...yup...Blake just about covered it perfectly! lol.
Suggestions: unbolt from axle, then unbolt from frame, grab new shock, bolt to top mount, then bolt to bottom mount. Neat little tidbit of info that I looooved when I first found this out.....stock bottom bolts.....each side of the bolts are different sizes. lol.

hahaha. thanks guys.. Feel like a total NOOOB lol..
ACE-i lol'd at that..
Blake- I called 4WP's.. Luckally the guy had them in his store and shipped them that day to my parents house.. I made sure they had them.. i was like im not giving you my dam money until you personally assure me that they are in stock and will ship TODAY.. thats when i double checked lol.. I find if you actually call them, you get better service then if you order online.. Oh and i paid like 5 bucks for a unlimited lifetime warranty on them.. According to the sales rep, i can replace them if they brake NO MATTER what the hell i throw at them! lol

Mine were so stuck at the top that I had to use PB Blaster and a crow bar and whack the sh*t out of the shock. If that happens, keep the bottom of the shock connected, just loosely tighten so it doesn't bounce around when you are whacking it.
Oh and don't take the strap off till you have the top of the shock in and are ready to line it up to the bottom mounts. It will be a b*tch to re-compress the shock.

When you cut that they fully extend. You have to compress the shock to the mount on the axle to get the bolt through the shock mount. It isn't that hard.
As far as the stud at the top goes. I highly recommend greasing the new shocks with some sort of lubricant. Silicon based worked great when I did last time. They slid right on.
As far as getting them off, as long your not going to re-use the shocks or try to sell them, you can pry against the frame to get them to slide off. It will probably dent the side of the old shock, but like I said, if your chucking them anyway.
Finally, I did a HOW-TO for this awhile ago. Not sure if the pictures still work or not, but it's the exact same process on the 07 as it was for the 99, so it should work for a 2000 as well.
