Icon12 Higher Lift!!!

Hi, I am getting a little bored with the simple/common 4 inch front lift I have on my ranger right now. I would like to upgrade a little, I was thinking somewhere around 6-7 inches. Two reasons,

1: I am having a problem with the axle arm support to the frame, it is starting to wear and the bolts are constantly coming loose and for those of you who are good with suspensions, THAT'S NOT GOOD.

2: I am looking at some good mudding spots, problem is I have a REALLY nice speaker system in the back and would like to preserve them by NOT getting waterlogged. I figured a few extra inches of lift would assist with that.

All that I am looking for is a place to by the parts, I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE. If anyone AT ALL has suggestions please.

Body lift?

What year? 4x2 or 4x4? What lift do you have now? Are you looking to simply add to what you have now?

Hmm. Your profile says '93 ranger, yet your name is B2redneck. Either way 4wheelparts should have what you are looking for. I think skyjacker has up to an 8" suspension, but another option is to just throw on a body lift and put more locktite on those loose bolts.

Well the problem is that I am not too big on jerry rigging. I would prefer to just replace the whole front lift. I am only trying to lift the front 6-7 inches. It's a 4x2 and I have a 4 inch lift in the front right now. It's a 1993, what about

"'93 ranger, yet your name is B2redneck."

What's so odd about that???

Another thing is I just replaces the suspension system all around, if I go changing the lift sizes then I will have to return the suspension parts. I think I can return them and get something bigger..... I think. I looked at the body lifts and they sound reasonable, but I guess for right now all I need is that one part to get replaces, then later on I can go back and change the lift size. So new question, does anyone know where I can get JUST the replacement bracket from right axle arm to the frame???

Just that B2 makes me think Bronco 2. Wasn't trying to offend you. Maybe if you talk real nice on the phone to the people a 4 wheel parts they can help you out. I don't know though. Most places that I have seen don't like selling just parts of a lift kit. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.
