hitch and tow hooks

hitch and tow hooks

im doing a body lift on my 07 ranger 4x4 sport, ive seen pics on here of guys with a BL and they still have their stock tow hooks? will i be able to keep mine with out cutting ? and how does their hitch look flush...like on members Billy4x420's truck?

I'm pretty sure you have to trim your valence still.

From the looks of things Billy4x4 took his to a shop and they modified the hitch and the tow hooks to work with a bodylift.

Just take off the front tows. They are not the best anyways for getting jerked out of a hole. I trimed my air dam and I thought it looked like crap so I bought a new one and removed the tows. I did mod my rear hitch to fit back stock.
one day I plan on building a front hitch that will be alot stronger than factory tow hooks.

Threres a write up on the 3"BL mods for the hitch. Tre has them.

I've done both their is a write up in the how to section to mod the hooks. And on the factory hich just cut 3in out of it and weld it back together ill post pics of mine this eve when I'm back at home. And insted of on my phone
