rear end drop?
hey...is there a way to just lower the rear end on my truck, like..2 inches. maybe 3 at most. it sits alot higher than the front and it bothers the hell out of me. is there like..smaller leaf springs i could get off some other truck or something. trying to keep the cost down. i don't use it to haul or tow anything so thats not really a problem.
thanx alot guys

^^ best bet and cheapest. instead of drilling them, get a cut off wheel, cut an X in the head of the rivets, then if you have a compressor, buy, or rent(if you can) a air hammer with a chisel and a punch... use the chisel to knock the head of the rivets off, then pry at the hanger so it will pop off the knock the part of the rivet that will still be stickin out, flush with the frame, and then use the punch on the air hammer to punch it threw. should take about 2hrs total. and removing the bed makes it a whole lot easier!!
or you can get drop shakles i believe.

ranger is spring over axle so if you put drop blocks on it its going to lift it not drop it. You have to put a flipkit and put the axle on top of the leafs for the drop blocks to actually DROP the truck.
Before you post stupid replies like that get your **** straight.
