I need some input please

hey guys
as i have been driving my truck i have been hearing really loud and annoying squeeking coming from the front of my truck when i go over bumps or when i'm turning my wheel. im not sure what the problem could be and hoping its something i would be able to fix myself.

thanks in advance

Hmmm...just answered this for someone else. Usually it's the anti-sway bar bushings that allow the bar to pivot at the frame. Take it apart and put the special urethane lube (tacky silicone grease) or white lithium grease and it'll go away.

Or, if you're feeling adventurous, take the sway bar off and leave it off -- that's what I did for offroad suspension compliance but you have to learn to drive the truck on the street all over again, lol.

thanks. ill try that. but when someone stands in the truck and bounces to simulate the truck going over a bump the noise seems to be coming from closer to the tires. maybe the problem is with the anti-away bar. ill have to get back to you and let you know. thanks.

have you theen my batheball?

If it does it also when you turn, it could be a ball joint or tie rod end... these parts on our trucks arent greasable from the factory so they dry up and skewweeeeeeeeeeeeek
