Lift for 98 Ford Ranger
Lift for 98 Ford Ranger
I have a 98' Ford Ranger 4wd. I have looked everywhere for lift kits. I have found only 2, RCD and something else(cant really remember). Anyhow i was wondering if anyone knew about any other Lift Kits(not body lifts). Like i said i have only found two and those two range around 2,000 dollers. I am looking for some cheaper then that. If anyone can help please.
nope sorry there is the superlift also but its expansive. the front IFS suppensions that the newer trucks have are expansive to lift. as compared to my older gen with the I-Beams its alot cheaper. with a t-bar crank and minor trimming you can fit 33x12x15 stock
i think theres alot of topics on here, maybe some have been archived, but if you search i think thers an RCD vs Superlfit thread. theres also a Dixon Bros. LT kit, however that is much more expensive and offers no lift. i have the RCD 5" Coil-over kit, check out my cardomain for pics...
I too have a 98 as well. Yes our options are limited no doubt.
RCD
Superlift (don't do this lift from what I hear it's not very good)
SAS (Straight Axle Swap, this is what I want to do)
All are over $1k. For the rear there are a few options but then you get that slanted stance and I have that. You can put the F150 torsion bars in I think but I dunno anything about that.
