lift s10 vs lift ranger

I was looking on cardomain and found a black s 10 that i thaught looked sweet. Its not a big lift its a 2" with i think 31s and it looks good. Im wondering if it were a 2wd and a ranger 2wd with the same lift wich one would get better mpg.

heres a link to the truck its 4x4 but i would want a 2wd.

also how much of a lift would it take to lift a 2wd to make it look like this truck?

thnks

"if you google image sS10, you find nothing but lowered S10s. If they're so much better than rangers offroad you would think someone might lift them" -Aanonymous
