Lift Height

So this. Might sound stupid but I can't find and answer. I'm getting ready to replace the stock rancho shocks with bilstein on my 2008 FX4, I bought it a couple weeks back. I noticed lift blocks( about 2 in) under the rear leaf springs. Is this normal and if not can I still order stock shocks to fit it?

Those are most likely factory parts. 4x4 Rangers came with either a 2.5" lift block (pre 2008 trucks) or a 1.5" lift block (2008 and newer). Your 08 truck should have the 1.5", assuming nobody has messed with it.

As far as shocks, you'll need the stock size. So, any shocks meant to fit a 2008 4x4 ranger will fit your truck.
