limited slip in front and back?
me and my dad where haveing an argument about if the FX4 paxages has limited slip in front and rear? i said yes, he said no. Just wondering if anyone has an answer on it.
Torsen limited slip on the Level 2's in the rear only. Now that there is no Level 2 its an option in the FX4 in the rear only. Rangers never had any option or anything for the front diff.
I think that non level 2 FX4s have the standard Ford limited slip.

A L/S in the front will give you a heavy self-centering feeling to the steering. At least, that's what it did on my '91. Fortunately, the '91 had the ability to unlock the front hubs, something the newer 4x4 Ranger's can't do. Of, course the air locker would be a solution to that.
