Icon5 Loose steering feel.... What should I look for?

I have a 1997 Ranger 2WD (110K) that I just got. To me it seems like the steering is a little loose. I don't know if it is just because all I have been driving for the last 15 years are cars with rack and pinion steering systems and this one has a steering box on it but I still think the steering could be a little tighter and have a little less play.

What should I look for and how should I do it? Also are there any things I can adjust to make the steering a little tighter and have less play??

Ford truck steering is not tight, you herd a Ford truck down the road, you don't drive it down the road, always been this way.

Have a read here on checking for "extra" looseness: Please Sticky: How To: Adjust power steering gearbox - The Ranger Station Forums
