Lowered the truck a little more and new shocks

Got some new coilover shocks yesterday and lowere the truck about 1.5" more in the front, with the extra stiffness from the coils it rides a lot better next week we will be doing some camber mods to help realign it.It almost rides like when I had it lifted. It's a little bouncy, but thats better than it crashing down like it did.

heres the shocks

Here is the notch I made for a little extra clearance

And here is the finished product, yes the truck is filthy.btw no rubbing at all even on 20x9.5 rims

now it is at the perfect height (imo) and rides good.

i wasnt referring to u anyway i was talkin about the first guy that posted. Anyways not sure what the spring rate was they are not really coilovers, more like just extra load springs. ever since the truck has been lowered it has been really soft and bottomed out easy. now with these I dont have to slow down for bumps.

That's what I was just about to ask. So you are still using the torsion bars as well? I had thought about replacing the shocks with coilovers on my truck and getting rid of the torsion bars. I think you might have to strenghten the shock hoops to do that though. It looks good though, nice job!

although not a fan of lowered trucks, it looks good. Adding accessories to your vehicle goes along with your personality. Everyones different, and everyones got there opinions, do what you like, and dont even worry with those who say things look like crap, you need to get rid of them. Who paid for the truck? is what I always tell those who say stuff about mine. that goes for lifted or lowered truck. theres my words of peace and wisdom for the year, lol, and in febuary, hell ya, wont have to worry with that anymore. lol.
