thats a problem of traction control. traction bars help with wheel hop, usually happens to people running oversized tires.

You need better tires.

Traction bars are almost like everything else for our truck: if you can afford them, they'll break easily.

I bent a set of James Duff bars before....

Cal-Tracs makes a damn good set that essentially acts as a 4-link, but they're $400.

for the problem your experiencing, tractions bars wont help much. what you need is an LS and better tires

Z rated tires will get u on the straight path....

i just bought my g/f some BFGoodrich Traction T/A tires rated to 150 mph

will it ever get up that fast? hell no, its just a b18 motor, but still, the grip is awesome...

Check out Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s.. They rate well for wet and dry traction and are reasonably priced. I'll be replacing my Faklens with Indy 500s probably around the end of the summer.

go with some good AT tires if you still plan to take the truck off road
I am partial to the BFG line but others report good results with Coopers
by the looks of them REVOS might also be well suited for your application

They're only $83 each on TireRack.com for my large 265/70R17 size.. probably much less for the size you're running.

kurt, you pick the tires you want and ill get you a deal on them. right now i have Dunlop GT qualifiers on the torino, and i did a lot of research when i bought them, they have performed well for me. now my favorite tire (though it is a car tire) is the Bridgestone Potenza G009. very very sticky, super soft compound but it has a nice long tread life. i could get you a set for probably 350 installed.

PS: i HAVE heard good things about the firestones mentioned earlier in this thread as well
