Just guessing, but I'd say go with the 2/3. 4/5 gets you down pretty low so when you start squatting the leaves a bit you might run into issues.

go with 4/5 if you start off with the 2/3 you'll want to go lower eventually its just a matter of time and save yourself the hassle instead of having to buy the control arms later on and have to tear apart the truck again and then have to buy another alignment..

Go 4/5 you can still haul stuff just use airshocks out back and when you want to haul put some air in them.

where is the best place to order the 4/5 kit?? anyone got any pics of a 4/5 kit with stock rims and tires??? i heard that my tires would rub and i would need wheel spacers in the front with stock tire size because there too wide? well i need new front tires anyways tho..does the djm lowering kit come with the air shocks because that seams like the most popular kit to go with but i duno give me your opinions

Best place to order would be summit or godfather customs they have the cheapest prices.

You will be fine with stock rims on the truck but you will need to get a smaller diameter tire as the stock 27 inch 225/70/15 will rub badly. No need for spacers or any of that on stock rims.

Also air shocks or any shock does not come with the kit you have to order them seperately.

The diameter of the tire is to big with that amount of drop so everytime you turn or hit a decent bump or dip in the road you will hear the tires rub the plastic inner fenders...

That was the DJM 4/5 with the upper and lower djm arms and coils and flipkit out back, I purchased it from styling concepts because their buisness is like 10 mins from my house.

My truck is a bit lower now as I switched the 2 inch DJM drop coils out for 3 inch belltechs in the front and I flipped the rear hangers for more drop out back so Im sitting at 5/7 now but as those pics show above that is 4/5

+1 on the 4/5 with air shocks
i wasted my money on my f150 with a 3/4 when i should have gone with a 4/6... even though i bagged it later on haha.

not sure on the rangers, but you may have to remove the plastic inner fender or trim it alot so it doesnt rub the tire or get torn off..

Say Mark, just curious. What size tires were you running with with the 4"/5" and now with the 5"/7" drops?

In those pics above that was the stock 227/70/15 ons tock rims and it rubbed alot with the 4/5.

with the 5/7 Im running a 235/45/17 and I dont rub at all.

yup so I could get away from the rubbing issues. But yeah it sits low 5/7 suspension plus another 2 inches from the tires..

Explain how it was a nightmare? You still retain a stock load you can carry since you keep the stock leafsprings.

and notice how we mentioned airshocks, yeah they will make a difference if he wants to haul something.
