Help With Buying A Lift Kit!
Hey everyone I am just new to this website and I need some help with in buying my first lift kit for my 1997 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4. I am wondering which lift kit is the best for off-raoding? If anyone can please help me just pm me or email me at mccollum_31@hotmail.com.
Thanks,
Kevin

I'd run that kit. I had it on my 88 and it seems like a solid kit. That kit on 33's or throw a body lift on and run 35's like metro's truck ( i think he has that set up 6" and 3")

8" and 3" is a shiatty setup, try 8/5 and it will level it out...if u wanna be a big n***a SAS the front with 1 link rear...if not then please search big name companies lift...u will have mad bumpsteer with 8" so you would come out with about the same price SOA if u grab a welder and practice a lil bit...also go to Pirate4x4.Com - The largest off roading website in the world. youl learn a thing or 2, and i figure with *" lift you'd run 35's...35's and TTB dont go together...and if u are going for "pimptitemallcralwer" statuse, nothiin is cooler then solid axle yo!
btw dont be skeeeered its only welding

No he meant an 8 inch suspension lift and a 3 inch body.
Still to high for me though, your COG is way high.
