My Truck Is Weird

Ok, I was bored today so I broke out the measuring tape and measured from the bottom of my tires to the top of the fenders and all 4 tires. Well I did this like 2 weeks ago and the rear sat at 29" and the front was 29.5". When I did it today the whole thing sat at 29" and I thought it had settled all it was going to cuz it's been about 3 months since I had it dropped. Ill go out there tommorrow and measure it and it will probably be at 32" I think my truck has a mind of it's own.

Were you under the impression that your truck was a precision machine with regard to the suspension? It's not and there will be quite a bit of variation in ride height based on temperature and how you stop the vehicle, etc. The suspension does NOT return consistently to the same spot all the time.

Did you measure it in EXACTLY the same parking location? That would affect it also.

Overall, a 1/2 inch either way doesn't mean anything. Now if it DOES go to 32, THEN you've got a wierd truck!

i think mine does that sometimes. sometimes when i go under my truck i feel like i have to squeeze under there and other times its like ive got plenty of head room. wierd stuff.

one time my sister was riding in my truck and asked if i lifted it (this was when i took her to school everyday) i hadnt touched anything and she said it felt like it was up higher.
