Shock mounting question
I just bought a set of ES9000's for my truck and noticed that one of the front shocks is missing a piece. It's missing the piece that is shaped sort of like a dogbone that allows the shock to attach to the LCA, I've got 2 front shocks and only one of the dogbone things. I've got Fabcrap shocks on the front right now, would I be able to reuse the piece from them?
Maybe someone will know since a lot of people swap out their Fabcraps for Procomps, just trying to figure this out so that I can email them before I go to sleep if I need the piece.

If it is the part I'm thinking of, it slides into the rubber bushing and gives you the two mounting holes...YES you can re-use them. They are generic. Mine only came with 1 as well, for some ungodly reason Fed-Ex had a nice hole in my box and it obviously fell out.
Well anyway, yes, try to reuse it. You just have to use some wd or pb blast to get it out, it will be stuck in there. The fabcrap shocks use the same thing as procrap

Ok cool, thanks Ricky
I wasn't sure if maybe the eyelets were different diameter or something and didn't feel like messing with it for no reason lol. I'm gonna go do them now. I should post a pic of my old shocks, they don't even compress all the way since the shafts are so rusty.

Yea, definetly post a pic. You should like the new shocks...I mean it was night/day for me, some people dnot' like the ride though.
Just don't mess the shocks up incase you can't get that piece out.
If you need help call me, don't struggle with it, I've done it before.
