Need Longer U-Bolts!
I got the AAL lift kit, but unfortunately, I need a longer U-Bolt & I'm unable to find any. Does anyone know anywhere they sell them?
My measurements show:
3/8th Rod Diameter
3" Width
Roughly 9.5" Long (It's still installed on truck so I had a hard time measuring this)
I have maybe a half inch of thread on the top of the U-Bolt mounting plate.
Also, my lift kit contained Tapered Shims (just a steel block) do I still need a Caster/Camber kit?

As far as faster/camber, are you talking about the rear end? For the rear, all you should have to do is install the extra leaf and bolt everything back down.

Check for spring or drivetrain shops in your area, as most of them bend ubolts in house. Just tell them what dimensions you need. There's a local spring shop here (they mainly do large truck work) that I buy u bolts from, as I had bad luck with off the shelf ones. When I did my expo spring swap, I used ubolts that were 7 or 8 inches long, with a 2 3/4" diameter arc, out of 1/2" rod.

Yea, you'll need the camber kit for the tbar crank.
As for they shims in the rear, you can throw them on if you want. Might as well if you already have them. The pinion angle will be fine without them though.
