Power Steering Hose Connection
Power Steering Hose Connection
I need to replace the power steering hoses in my 94 Ranger, 2.3l. I do not have a large assortment of tools, so I am trying to get everything ready "before" starting this project.
Do the hose connections going into the gear box typically require the use of crow foot wrench? If so, I'll need t buy a set before starting.
I also see a plastic sleeve covering the gear box that looks like it may need to be moved. Any thoughts?
I am confident I can remove the pump in order to get access to the hoses, it's just these 2 issues that concern me at this point. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

The plastic sleeve around the gear box had a slit allowing it to surround one of the hose connections. Was able to pull the sleeve up and gain access to the connection. Crows foot wrenches "were" needed, with drive extensions.
