Hey new to the forum I have a 2003 ford ranger edge 2wd it was my first vehicle and I'm wanting to make a hotrod style ranger I have the first motor I built which is a supercharged 355sbc and I'm doing the axle flip on a ford 9 inch I found that was already made to do a ranger axle flip just curious would I need to doing anything else to my front end other than cutting the coils to do a budget build for now
They sell lowering keys for the torsion bar trucks, but they won't get you more than 2-3". Considering an axle flip is a 5" drop, you'll have to find the other 2-3" for the front somewhere else (swapping to coilovers, custom front suspension from another vehicle, etc.)
