rancho shocks

can you use, Rancho RS5000 Series Shock with a stock 2wd ranger, they are from advance and say "Shock Absorber; Front w/2.5 in. Lift; RS5000 Series; For Use With Rancho System" now to achieve a 2.5 inch lift wouldn't i need coils and leafs or can just shocks work for something that small, i know it sounds stupid, just that google hates me and never gives me the results i need.

thanks

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry 8530)

The statement "w/2.5" lift" in the application description merely means that they are made for your vehicle with a 2.5" lift, meaning they are the appropriate length, and they have the appropriate travel and valving.

Yes, to achieve the lift, you need other components.
