That's with it still on stands. I'm sure it will sag down, but how much I don't know. Either way it's coming out!! :spam:

On another note. The things I didn't use from the kit:

Alignmet cam washers, couldn't get them the work with the stock bolts.

Dust shield, I don't know what the hell they are talking about because they were not on my stock knuckles.

Crush washers for calipers, folks at work and friends told me to use the old ones so that they fit the grooves already there.

Any advice on these items is welcomed!! Thanks.

Sounds like you are right on target, the stuff you skipped is minor.

Keep the alignment cams for when you take it to get an alignment. If they need them they will use them

Forgot something, the front diff. breather hose. When I pulled the diff. I didn't notice where it was attached up in the engine bay. I need to reattach it, but where?

Does it really matter as long as it's up high enough? Think I should try and extend them up with more hose and just attach them where I see fit?

Epic thread. Nice work, man!

HighRollerII 10-24-2008 02:15 PM

id just run it up in the engine but just make sure it doesnt touch anything hot that it will melt too

Fx4wannabe01 10-24-2008 04:08 PM

Stock, the breather kinda runs up the driverside. Might be push pinned into the frame...honeslty don't remember.

xp1ik99 10-24-2008 04:12 PM

jealousy is killing me, what i would do for someone to be selling a damn lift so i dont have to front up all that money at once......next weekend hopefully......

Alright, got everything retorqued and tires on. Once the springs settled it's about 77" to the roof. I still need to adjust them though. I'm so pleased with the way this turned out.

Garage is a little too small to get good pics. But anyways....

outch! crank them coil-overs! once those coils settle after the first drive, you'll be riding the bumpstops is looks like.

04blackedge 10-24-2008 04:42 PM

Is that CV shaft angle normal? Looks good

I guarantee it. From my measurements I'm shy of the 5" of lift by 2" or so and I'm sure I'm gonna have to crank them after some driving. Hopefully when I crank them I'll have plenty of clearance.

I don't really know. But they look, from memory, straighter then they were with the t-bars maxed.

99ranger4x4 10-24-2008 05:37 PM

your still going to be lower than a superlift.. I was lower than RangerNVS and Zach was taller than someone with the RCD.. so the 2" short may be right lol

Right now I'm 2" short of the full 5" of lift. I should be able to crank that out of the coilovers, right?

Isn't Trevor higher then Shane?? He's running the 750 lb coils though.

zabeard 10-24-2008 06:36 PM

looks great Matt! came out good!

how does it drive?

Thanks.

I haven't driven it yet. I cleaned up the garage so I can find stuff again and started disassembling the back. I'm gonna try to get the rear finished tommorrow and then take it for an alignment. Believe me I'll let everyone know how it rides. I can't wait to get it going!!

Some folks at work told me that I should go ahead and get the rotors turned slightly. Is this true even though they are brand new?

you dont exactly have to turn them but when i work at my dads shop we always use some brake cleaner to wipe of the rotors b/c of some kind of oil they put on them i guess to keep them from rusting while they are stocked

Fx4wannabe01 10-25-2008 09:08 AM

You need to 'bed-in' the new rotors. There's likely a coating on them to prevent rusting during shipping and shelf life. It'll stop like junk until that coating is worn down.

You should be able to get those missing 2" out of it.....if not....congrats! your coils are sagging already. lol.

Tre is 1/2" taller than me in the front. He's about 2" taller than me in the rear. lol.

k lets get crackin on some truck pics, put that crap back in and role it out

99ranger4x4 10-25-2008 02:17 PM

you'll have to give me some measurements on how tall it is and let us know how well those springs flex, Im contemplating taking the block out and getting the lift springs.
