Are you serious i thought you had to weld? Well looks like that might be another option. So do the chevy springs mount up to the old brackets or do you have to bolt new brackets onto the frame?

move the front brackets forward about 6"

when you do that it just so happens that what used to be the front holes can now be used as the rear holes. so you really only have 2 holes perside to drill.

do some searches and you will find more info.

I just spoke with a guy from skyjacker and he told me that the 4 inch ranger leafs come with a 4 degree pinion shim so i can swap out the old leafs with the new lifted leafs and the pinion angle would be perfect!

So once i get the rcd kit ill just get the 4 inch skyjacker leafs!

I'd be running the stock bocks with the 4 inch skyjacker leafs and the pinion shims. Then id still be able to use the bump stops. Running this setup will i get more wheel hop then before...not that it matters.

you may get some. IMO go with the 6" skyjackers and no blocks.

Get the 2006 F250 bumpstop and put the bump stop extensions from RCD on it. that will make up for the loss bumpstop from the missing block.

That would work. I asked this before but no one answered my question. If you get rid of the block and extend the bumpstop where does it now hit? The axle tube?

yes it will hit the axle tube. which is really no different than hitting the bump stop.

let me find the link and pictures with the f250 bump stop.

In two of your posts it says 2006 F-250 bumpstops and the last says F350. I assume its the last one?

My $0.02

I think that setup will be an inch or two shorter then the RCD shackle and AAL. I had over 5 , almost 6 inches more lift with the RCD then I did over stock. Your basically only talking about putting in a 4" lift spring. When I had my truck I was thinking about buying the 6" lift springs for I didn't think the 4" ones would be tall enough. I was also thinking better to be to tall in the rear then to short but thats just how I like my truck.

You could be right. Thats why in the first post i asked if the 4 inch springs with stock block would make the ride hight good. I like the rear of the truck slightly higher then the front. Deffinately not even. I think it makes it look better and then under load still looks fine because then it would be about even all the way around.

Well if i ordered the 6 inch springs and installed it with no block and its not high enough i can just add the block. It just doesnt sound right to me though needing to have to add 6 inches to the rear when its originally a 5.5 inch suspension kit. Plus you have to remember the front will sag.

the front will not SAG that much.

btw the stock blocks are 2.5"

the lift adds 5.5"

that is 8 inches from the axle with stock springs.

that means you really need an 8" spring to get the height you want.

Get the 6" springs. Like i Have been saying.
