Looking for opinions/options. i just bought my rear end before knowledge of explorer 8.8 swaps. It was from a 08 ranger with 15000 miles. so id like to hold on to it if i can. im told mustang brakes will work. I have 16" stock rims so will the cobra discs work or do i have to go with the GT/V6 brakes. Is this my only option? about how much will it cost to go and get these parts from a junk yard?

 

Yard prices vary wildly so no Idea on cost, I am running 16x8s with my cobra brakes and have room to spare.

 

oh really? sweet. i love the look of the cobra calipers. did you just do rears like that with stock size fronts? i ask cuz im wondering how that affects the braking performance. does it actually improve?
