Welcome to the forum

U-joints or slip yoke

Article here on slip yoke: Fixing A Driveshaft ?Clunk? : The Ranger Station

Details on your truck would be helpful
Year
engine size
2WD or 4x4
manual or auto
regular or extended cab

never know what info might be needed for getting the right answers

The 1/8" movement in and out on rear axles is normal
