replace bottom control arm bushing

ive a 2007 ranger with four wheel drive single cabin; and 4 liter engine with automatic transmission. i need to replace the bushings in the bottom control arm.

i watched an a1 auto video on replacement, and they dont mention a few things...

i have two questions:
  1. the truck uses torsion bar suspension. do i really need to entirely remove the torsion bar to get at the bushings for replacement? or would there be enough 'play' in the control arm to remove and replace the bushings, leaving the bar in?
  2. also, the video was explaining how to replace the control arm. i dont want to replace the whole arm, just the bushings. --how do i replace only the bushings, and do they just come off easily after removing the bolt, or do i really need to get a special tool to push things out??

everything in the suspension there is still factory.
