Ride height after front end rebuild
After months of driving with squeaking and popping sound, this past weekend rebuilt my front end. New outer/inner tie rods, upper and lower control arms with ball joints and new sway bar links and new shocks. I ordered the Mevotech Supreme kit from Rockauto and Monroe OE Spectrum shocks. While I know it's not the best, this truck is not a daily driver and has a **** ton of miles and I really don't know how much longer it will last so I'm not spending a lot of money on it.
Anyway, the install was pretty easy and I got it aligned yesterday and it rides really good. The one thing I noticed is that now the front seems higher. Almost like if it has a leveling kit. Even the alignment guy asked me if I lifted it. Is this something that will eventually settle or did I seat the front springs wrong? BTW I re-used the OEM coil springs in the front. It really doesn't bother me other than it looks kind of goofy now with the 225 tires.
Thanks in advance for your repiles!
