Id get Evans axles.

Something Scott hasnt mentioned is he is on his 3rd ring and pinion for that 8.8

No way I would run a C-clip axle and anything bigger than 37s.

You are going to want full width axles. no way narrow axles and 44s will work or it will be stupid tall.

Forget radius arms, 3 link or 4link it with a pan hard

Your gonna want high steer.

5.13s are not tall enough. You want 5.38s minimum which is all the bigger you can go in a D44 or 8.8.

You want a FF rear axle.

Your also going to have driveshaft angle issues.

my axles would be ideal and your a state over, and ive got big tires you can run that are cheaper then any other 44" tire that you would buy

2nd ring and pinion.. what i thought was gonna be #3 turned out just to be busted spiders, which was the stock junk from the 98 sploder that i pulled the axle from. and 5.38s are made for D44 and 8.8

he said thats the biggest you can go.. but your right.


you can get 6.14s for the 8.8, not sure on the D44 though.

yeah that is what i meant on the 5.38s, but you cant go numerically higher than that.

guess your right, they have 5.89s for D44s, but I didn't see any reverse cut

because thats $$$, 609's are bling but just shave a D60, youll save your self alot of cash and time.

and if i had the cash to afford a bling axle i would.. but i cant lol


i really wish i had some money laying around, thats one hell of a deal from Evan!! i would just toss them on the side of the house and wait for a rainy day... lol
