I built rangerervs truck as well. Not sure what you are having a problem with or even asking? you want the coils running straight up and down, maybe tipped to the back some.

Will the springs sittin in the factory mount location off the axle line up under my truck without having to move the facotory location in any? and i guess that just depends on what using as mounts by the frame...hell just point me in the right direction with that!!! lol

you need to read yourself. one look at the right picture would tell you for sure. I dont remember what axle you are wanting to run but if its a 78-79 F150 or Bronco then yes it will be outside the frame. But not a lot. You can make up for any adjustments in the hoop

If you get measurements Im sure someone with a bender or a shop can bend them up for you.

Ive been lookin to see if any aftermarket companies make a coilspring and shock upper mount, ive found coil over upper mounts but none for the coil spring and shock upper mounts. Anybody know of anyone that makes this?

keep in mind nearly all vehicles have a wider front track width than the rear. sometimes several inches of difference.

on a 2006 ranger, the track width is 1.2" difference front to rear.

I was gonna say the same thing. If you can get the whole truck for $600 and it runs, then you're all set.

the ABS sensor on your rear axle COULD be the speed sensor, it may not be..

is it an auto? I think at some year they went over to using the speed sensor on the trans to run the speedo..

easy way to find out, pull the wire off the sensor on the rear axle and see if your speedo goes away.

Im almost 100% sure that if its a manual trans the speed sensor is in the t-case and if its automatic then its in the rear end just do what was said above to find out.

i can guarantee you mine was on the rear axle and its a manual.. its all in the year i think.. Autos are off the trans, badkarma has an auto and his works, Zachs works, both of them are newer though.

the explorer t-case i now have has a speed sensor on the t-case though, I'm going to try and splice the wires from the rear axle into it and see what happens.

just a little FYI, all HP ford dana 44s had Cs wedled on but the 76 or 77 has the had disc brakes, 78-9 had them cast into the axle with no tube in that area.

that makes no sense

"all ford HP dana 44s have the wedges welded on.. except not the 78/79..."

the preferred axle is a 77(disc and weld on wedges), good luck finding one though.
