Shackels or AAL
I think AAl is cheaper, it will stiffen up your rear end a bit.
I've heard a few hear/say accounts of shackles not being up to standard, but a few first hand accounts of having no problems....
I'd start with the AAl then add shackles later when you want to go bigger. or start with shackles and move to chevy leaf pack...
I think I was no help at all

AALs, cheaper and if you haul anything or load anything in your truck it will help the weight issue....my AAL kit from summit was like 40$ shipped....and if your leaf springs are sagging it will help also..i got about 2 inches of lift from mine

depends if you want your truck to ride a little stiffer or not... if its too soft get some AALs and you'll be happy. if it already rides too hard then go for shackles, you'll get better flex out of it with them. and it seems that they are both the same price, the beltech 6400s are about 50 bucks.
