i got maxed tbars and a total of 4inches of blocks in the rear(bad idea i kno) but my frnt end is higher then the rear by 3/4 of an inch. but my frnt end has paid the price, with wearing out balljoints every 6 months and tie rod ends every 8 months, i wouldnt recommend it, plus keeping it aligned is fun too, do a spindle lift and in a couple of yrs it will pay off.

I don't know if the same with all years or what, but when a buddy of mine here installed the Belltech shackles in his '07 FX4 he had to cut the end of the exhaust pipe off where it bends out because the drivers side shackle was hitting it. Now it just points straight back and exits by the front of the hitch, just cut it on an angle so its kinda pointing down. Just something to keep in mind. LR

shackles are probably a better way to lift the rear as apposed to an add a leaf. because of the smoother ride. both will have the same effect.

Im assuming youre concerned about the 265's fitting? lol Im pretty sure 265/75/16 are really close to a 32" tire.

dont buy the torsion keys, just crank the factory ones. Ive had mine cranked for a year and a half and had no front end issues
Instead of a whole add a leaf set if there is a metal works place nearby he could get the current springs re bent and only add one new leaf for extra support this evens out the truck and keeps a very nice ride shackles work though

a whole add a leaf set? all an AAL is, is a new leaf, and new bolts that are longer, both would be needed in what you said...

not to mention that if you get your spring re-arced, you are going to be changing the way everything works, because of the angle of the shackle... if you are going to go with a spring with more arc, you should also be using a longer spring...

you sound like you have had experience with this but all add a leaf i have seen on the interweb involved several springs
ive also seen this done several times at the welding shop back home never had it done personally but will soon and yes you will need 1 new spring and 2 longer bolts. everyone i kn ow thats got this done always had good things to say its also cheaper

Seb do you have the short or long AAL's? could you send me a larger pic of your truck please?

Short AAL, Procomp to be exact.

This is with just the AAL and cranked bars, and 265/75R16's
