Shocks
Shocks
Now, I know this sounds kinda funny...but what would it be like running no rear shocks?
I mean when you solid axle the front, there are no shocks used.
I was just curious b/c I was looking at b's truck and thinking about shocks at the same time.

It's REAAAAAALLY bouncy. Kinda fun, but I wouldn't want to drive around like that forever. It's kind of like driving a trampoline. You can imagine how old that gets.
When I put the superlift on my truck, it was missing the proper bushings for the rear shocks, so I rode shockless in the rear for 3 days. What a trip.

It was just a random thing that popped through my head.

the problem with running no shocks is that your springs are in more of a bind.....without the shocks they have all of the blunt force that the road is passing up through the suspension......which means you are more likely to bust a spring.......
i wouldn't recommed running no shocks....it just isn't a good idea...

I was meaning the "shocks" thing was random in my head.
Proper SAS would be done with shocks, but I don't see too many solid axle rangers with shocks in the front.
And with the solid axle shocks comment, I mean when other people (that I have seen) do the swap, they never use shocks...
Sorry for the wording, it was mis-interpreted.

I bet it isn't too smooth of a ride
