Ive got a 2000 Ranger 4X4 Off road and it rides really rough. Does any body else have the same trouble? I was thinking about getting the same bilstein shocks as the fx4 level II but do they right rough too? Ive never driven any other rangers so i dont know if its just mine or what. this is similiar to the other shock thread....but i need help!

 

You could get the Rancho RS9000X adjustable and set them for firm or soft depending on your taste. A ton of people run them and love them including the venerable Daddy Griggs. Made by Monroe so they are good quality shocks. Can't be the adjustability.

 

Yes!! I have basicly the same truck as you and let me tell you, it will ride rough. I'v had Stock shocks, Pro Comp ES9000's, Rancho 5000's, and Bilstein 7100's on my truck. The best ride of all of those has been the Bistein 7100's. It actually rides pretty good now. I'm sure somebody with the stock replacement Bilstein will chime in here but my vote is definatly Bilstein. I'm actually selling my 7100's, they are race shocks and not as cheep as stock replacements, but if your interested PM me..
