of the three listed I would go Procomp, but if you are wanting to upgrade 04blackedge is right, go Bilstein or maybe even fox if you do a lot of off road.

i do occasional off road but im mainly on the pavement i seen a deal for 4 pro comp shocks for 170. i like the fox shocks but dont got that kinda money unless it i was looking for the wrong ones. What kind of fox shock will work on an 03 4x4 with torsion up front?? i cant even find bilstein shocks for my truck.

You could check out some Fox emulsion 2.0's. I just put a set on my truck and they ride great, but they are not cheap.

For the same price as procomp, check out KYB gas-a-just shocks. I got all 4 for under $120 (reg price).

Just go Bilstein or Fox. I think Procomp shocks are just relabeled Ranchos, I hear that a lot. I have ES9000's and they suck, way too firm. The only Procomps I would ever run would be the MX6 since they are adjustable but I'm not sure if they even make them for Rangers.

I put the Rancho RS5000s on my truck. They are better than what I had, but they are a stiff shock and dont ride that great.

I have the Rancho RS5000s on my Ranger and they are pretty nice. Nothing great but a good overall shock. You could get the RS9000 which are adjustable!

Bilstein shocks for your truck:
Part # BE5-2794-HO
Part # BE5-2795-HO

There's a company that sells them on eBay for like $250+shipping. After buying these and feelings the difference in the ride, I will never go with a different shock other than Bilsteins again.
