I'm the one who found the deavers to be too stiff. I ordered a set of Fox 2.0's from ORW last week that Nick custom valved and will be going in next weekend. I'll let you know how that turns out as far as a smooth rear setup. But so far i've got some coin in it...

what deavers did you get the 35's or 31's? my buddy has no bed just tubing, shocks and bed sides with deaver 31's and its soft as butter. the 35s are for full on race trucks with 35 gal fuel cells and spare tires and full bed cage's.

ty as for your set up. start with shocks. even if you go with different springs your not gonna gert 16" travel shocks. so maybe order them 2" bigger than factorys and it should accomidate to your difference. and unless you do a shackle flip the deavers will not really yeild alot more travel.

I just ordered a set of Bilsteins for mine. They feel great on my lowered Camaro and the HD stands for heavy duty. They should outlast the life of the truck.
