i want to do a solid axle swap on my 99 ranger

but i dont know of anybody that will make it

ohh and its a daily driver so should i do the solid axle swap

It is not a kit...it is a custom fabrication project that involves alot of time and money...

If it is a daily driver and you have the tools and the means to take on this project, your vehicle could be down and undrivable anywhere from weeks to months depending on your preparedness...

Why post sites when you can use the search funtion to search within the site for other posts on solid front axle fabrication...

Basically, no no no.

First, nobody makes a kit for your ranger. Okay I lie I think a company does, but its expensive and I believe its made for older rangers.

If it's your daily driver than you prolly shouldnt SAS it. Unless you buy a civic or something for MPG or just dont care.

Also, if your town is large i bet there's a custom auto shop that would do it for ya. If they have the knowledge and you procure axles and parts then they should be able to do it. But then again, this si something i'd rather do to my truck than have someone do for me.


Not many people do the SAS, but I believe its a better option than the aftermarket IFS lifts which add height to ur vehicle, but seem to retard performance or not add much performance at all.

I'll see if i can find the lift company for ya tho man. It might work i can't remember

Look through there. I'm almost postivive they use a d30 axle if they provide the axle. That is a terrible axle to solid axle swap with.

Well you could pay 2000 for the RCD lift and 150 bucks for a body lift, which will gain you about 9 inches of height. Then crank your front torsion bars and new blocks/leafs/whatever in back. That'll get ya like 11-12 max which is a hell of a lot of lift.

Then you can fit any size tire, but if you go above 37s you're practically guaranteed to f stuff up in your truck. 35s would be the largest size possible.

Oh, and the problem with wheeling a stock vehicle with superlift/bodylift or RCD/body lift plus 35s+ is basically you're asking for a lot more than your vehicle was designed for.

Yah, but they put radius arms there, which are a little bit better(as in they're not as low) but much weaker than the tbars.
