Sport Trac torsion bars

I've heard that the #1 bars available for Sport Tracs are stiffer than the #1 bars available for Rangers.
Is this true? I havent been able to find any info on the matter

I think they are the same. The sport trac is pretty much a ranger suspension wise.

I figured they would be the same. I heard that they are stiffer because of the additional weight of the optional V8.

i got an idea...

get vin numbers off a sport trac with 1's, call the dealer, and get the part number.

thn get vin numbers off a ranger with 1's, call the dealer, and get the part number.

follow that up with comparing the numbers. bam...answer lies there.
