stock suspension upgrades
I have a 2011 for Ranger XLT 4.0 v6 2WD stock hight and will not be lifting it (has standard shocks no coil overs)
is it my daily driver (think grandpa driving around town but live out on the farm with bumpy roads)
that I need to start planning a complete front end suspension rebuild (when I say complete I mean everything in the front end suspension)
and I am needing suggestions on replacement parts that are better than the ones at the local auto parts store just note I am not lifting it and don't want to go bankrupt doing this
im looking for something that rides smooth and can still take the occasional pot hole
let me know what yall think

At 257K miles on my 2003 XL stock daily driver I needed to replace worn out front components as I was getting a lot of clunking as I am driving. I had already replaced the shocks with Bilstein but most of the ball joints have done all they could do at this point.
What I replaced due to wear are the upper control arms, the lower ball joints, the inner and outer tie rods, sway bar bushings and spindles. I had to replace my spindles as they were severely scored and I couldn't put new brakes and bearings back on in good conscious. My lower control arm bushings are and in Great shape so there was no need for me to replace them.
After looking at what's out there and how many parts are manufactured in China I chose to go with genuine Motorcraft or FoMoCo parts. I searched and found that Rock Auto's pricing for genuine are actually "almost" at cost for what the dealer pays. I found a local large Ford Dealer that was willing to give me the parts at cost +10% without having to pay for shipping and I get the parts sooner and this is the route I chose.
