Thanks for the advice guys. Now im just tryin to determind if i should straight axle it or do performance upgrades first.

yeah i got the same to figure out. i got a start on my axles. but i also want to do a bit more to the 302. But i think first on the big list is finding a dd car and then let the chopping begin. I'm going to be doing mine slowly but as fast i can to make it not as bad of a hit to my pocketbook. I'm hoping by end of summer or in the fall. but i'm gona be going leafs i think.

i have about 2700 in my sas with 4.88s chromoly shafts and lockers all brand new but i do get everything at cost from randys ring and pinion through my work

Yeah, D44 or D60 if you're really going to thrash it hard. Definitely 4.88 or higher for an auto and at least 5.13 for a manual.

Haha... wow... I've got over 2K in just my 9". Haha...

$700 ARB Locker
$200 5.13 Gears
$100 Install Kit
$600 35 Spline Chromos
$500 Disc Conversion Kit

Plus another 1k in the 44, and I haven't even started on the suspension yet.
